Industrial

Most PVC fencing can be used in industrial applications as well as residential. The most important consideration is to purchase a high quality product. Most of the manufacturers that we recommend have products that can be used both for residential and industrial. In addition to the normal installation the following is recommended to convert the standard PVC installation into an industrial one:

1. Reinforce all posts with aluminum “I” beam inserts or choose extra heavy 5x5 posts.
2. Upgrade post sizes to 5x5 posts if necessary.
3. Use gates reinforced with aluminum and industrial hardware.
4. Utilize galvanized or Vinyl coated “chain link” fence gate posts, with “chain link” gate frames swinging on industrial “chain link” hardware. Bolt the PVC panel to the steel gate frame instead of having the gate support itself.
5. Add aluminum reinforcement to the bottom and top horizontal rails of the PVC fence.
6. Choose only the most durable PVC options.
